Business Controller Finspång

Our client is a large international company with offices in several locations in Sweden. One of them is in Finspång, and for that office, we are currently seeking a Business Controller. This is a full-time consulting assignment starting in June 2024 and expected to continue until June 2025, with very good chances of extension.

About Our Client

Our client delivers today´s and tomorrow´s energy solutions through the manufacturing of world-class steam and gas turbines. They also project complete power plants to produce electricity, steam, and heat, where the turbines are the heart of the entire construction.

The Role

The position involves working independently and purposefully to follow up and analyze results and present them clearly. In this role, you are expected to meticulously monitor the financial development of your area, work on future forecasts, and identify potential improvement opportunities. You will have close collaboration with finance functions in the organization, supporting them in financial matters. The work involves a high degree of contact with our global organization and communication and collaboration with colleagues in several countries.

• Analyze and understand the income statement´s development of KPIs within your responsibility area (e.g., absorption, SG&A, gross profit).
• Present financial results openly to the management.
• Work on closing, budget, and forecast activities for the location and business unit.
• Collaborate closely with BA and other commercial functions in the global organization, providing support in financial matters.
• Develop and digitize financial processes.

Your Background and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in business control, corporate administration, accounting, or similar.
• Bachelor´s degree in business administration or a similar field.
• Fluent in English.

Desirable

• Good knowledge of Swedish.
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel.
